Mandragora

The darker side of the playful and colorful European porn scene is investigated in Wiktor Grodecki’s independent series of films.

Grodecki’s dark and often disturbing documentary about prostitution on the streets of Prague revealed an often unseen world in the 1994 film Not Angels But Angels.
Not Angels But Angels offers a tenious heart-wrenching tale later focused on by other films like 1996′s documentary Body Without Soul and the plot driven Mandragora (1997).
