This weekend’s email newsletter from Homoactive was just your standard boilerplate fare, however one thing that caught my eye was their sale on Falcon Studios’ Through the Woods, the film that turned the world onto French Canadian Pierre Fitch.

So many of us first watched the DVD expecting a zippy gay porn retelling of Stephen Soldheim’s Tony awards winning musical Into the Woods. What we received instead was a cute story in which Fitch travels through the woods to his grandmother’s house, pursued by the sly Mr. Wolf, adroitly played by Gus Mattox.
